NATURAL, SL14, SL28, SMALL BATCH
Our treat of choice when we have a moment to slow down.
Ethiopia might be Africa’s top coffee producer, but Uganda is the continent’s biggest exporter. Still, Uganda hasn’t fully tapped into its potential yet. Thanks to improvements in farming and processing, the region is starting to overcome past challenges. New washing stations and better quality control are making a real difference for smallholder farmers, improving their livelihoods in the process.

Medium Roast, Natural Process. In the natural process, only the ripest coffee cherries are picked, and the drying process can take up to four weeks. The cherries are dried in their entirety, with the fruit still intact, on raised beds under the sun. They are turned regularly to ensure even drying, promote airflow, and prevent spoilage. After drying, the cherries are stored in conditioning bins until they are hulled right before shipment.
